Proclamation request
A proclamation request is pending. Prayer is already underway.
An application has been submitted to the Governor's Office requesting that August 2026 be proclaimed Back to School Prayer Over Students Month in Florida. The request is awaiting a decision.
Churches and families do not need to wait to begin praying for students, teachers, families, and schools. Participation is local and voluntary. The State of Florida does not operate this site. Proclamation support responses are received by the Back to School Prayer team; campus commitments, stories, and prayers are not sent to the State.
